Unconventionally Wise was created by Anyes, an Italian-born, California-based professional with decades of experience across travel, photography, video, design and art.
Much of her life unfolded without a template. Moving to the US by herself at a young age, living alone for many years, creating homes in unconventional spaces, going through a difficult divorce and finally finding love at age 40 required making decisions without relying on standard advice.
Being a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) further sharpened the need to evaluate choices carefully, since comfort and sustainability were essential. Over time, this led to considering slightly out-of-the-box alternatives, a process that is now part of how Unconventionally Wise curates its content.
